Sutton is a small historic civil parish located 7 miles to the west of Peterborough in north-west of Cambridgeshire. It is a small quiet rural village that is surrounded by countryside. Sutton is designated a ‘small village’ in the Planning Policies Development Plan Document
(2012), its population is approximately 110 and has remained steady for around the last 700 years. The village falls within a Conservation Area designated in 1979. The ancient church of Sutton dates back to the 12th century and is also home to a war memorial.
